| Due to the extreme heat advisory in effect, the City of Cleveland Heights has opened a Cooling Center at the Cleveland Heights Community Center (1 Monticello Blvd.) for residents. Here are the details:
- All residents are welcome.
- Cooling Center Hours: 6:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday.
- Cleveland Heights Community Center is located at 1 Monticello Blvd.
In an effort to stay cool, please minimize your time outside and avoid direct exposure to the sun. If you must go outside, schedule your outdoor activities for the cooler early morning or evening hours. Avoid being outdoors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., which is typically the hottest part of the day. Stay hydrated by drinking water and be mindful of your pets. Do not leave pets or children in cars. Please check on any neighbors that may be vulnerable and without air conditioning.
