Walsh University has appointed Timothy Gray as the Director of the Skilled Technical Workforce Program. Previously holding positions in state universities and local and national non-profit organizations, Gray has extensive experience with data analytics and program supervision. He’s been involved in community outreach and served as the spokesperson for organizational programming. Additionally, he is the author of numerous studies, has advised undergraduate students, administered student conduct and taught political science.
With more than 25 years of experience in higher education and workforce development, Gray will work collaboratively with Dr. Dan Passerini, the Executive Director of Cross-Enterprise Operations and other stakeholders on campus to manage the Skilled Technical Workforce Program’s day-to-day operations and interface with professionals in local community organizations, schools and businesses to continue to grow and expand the program.
Walsh University has been recognized by the National Science Board as being at the center of the national conversation and as being a leader in creating new and innovative ways for academia and industry to work together to create unique and impactful programming, foster innovation, and promote a stronger and more globally competitive workforce. As Director, Gray will be working with Dr. Passerini to foster community relationships, build collaborations to advance program goals and objectives and capitalize on Walsh’s position as an Education Provider for the Ohio TechCred program to expand services, offerings and customized training programs to a more diverse constituency in other targeted demographics.
Gray earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History from Kent State University and his Masters of Arts in Political Science at Miami University.
