Walsh's Comeback Efforts Fall Short in Loss to Ferris State | Walsh University
In the final game before the holiday at Alumni Arena, the Cavaliers hosted GLIAC member, Ferris State. Ferris came into the match up with a 7-2 record. After a close first ten minutes, the Bulldogs pulled away in the second quarter. After a plethora of threes made by the Maroon and Gold, the Cavs cut it to seven points. Ferris responded in timely fashion, quickly extending their lead to 16 in four minutes. The Bulldogs would end up outscoring the Cavs 29-14 in the final quarter to grab the victory.

FOR THE CAVS
- Morgan McMillen lead the way for the Cavs with 21 points and five rebounds.
- Vanessa Sales had solid minutes, coming off the bench, with 12 points.
- Emma Dretke and Abby Hickey contributed ten points a piece.
- Mallory McCartney and Kenzie Bowers contributed double doubles in the contest. McCartney had 20 points and ten assists. Bowers had 17 points and ten rebounds.
- The team had 41 rebounds on the day, out rebounding Walsh by 17.
