The Malone University men's basketball program unveiled their 2022-23 regular season schedule.
The Pioneers are gearing up for the eighth season under the direction of head coach Casey Kaufman.
Malone begins the year at home on Friday November 11 by hosting Saginaw Valley State University.
The home portion of MU's non-conference schedule also includes games against Central State University (December 30) and Point Park University (December 31).
The Pioneers face non-conference road trips to Wayne State University (November 13), Emory & Henry College (November 17), and Lenoir-Rhyne University (November 19).
Great Midwest Athletic Conference play gets underway on Saturday, December 3 when Malone hosts the University of Findlay. The Pioneers will also host Lake Erie College (December 8), Kentucky Wesleyan College (December 15), Trevecca Nazarene University (December 17), Ohio Dominican University (January 5), Walsh University (January 12), Ashland University (January 26), Cedarville University (February 11), Hillsdale College (February 16), and Northwood University (February 25).
The January 12 matchup with Walsh will be the 59th Annual Mayors' Cup game.
The road portion of the G-MAC schedule begins with a trip to crosstown rival Walsh on December 10. Malone will also make trips to: Hillsdale (January 7), Lake Erie (January 14), Tiffin (January 19), Findlay (January 21), Cedarville (January 28), Northwood (February 4), Ohio Dominican University (February 9), Kentucky Wesleyan College (February 18), and Ashland (Febrary 23).
The 2023 Great Midwest Men's Basketball Championships will begin with the quarterfinal round on Tuesday, February 28. The semifinals will take place on March 3, and the conference championship will be contested on March 4.
