Summer 2022 term also saw more than 1,700 degrees conferred
In August, The Ohio State University awarded more than 1,700 degrees at its summer 2022 commencement.
The term’s dean's list names 736 students who received top marks for their work: 525 Ohio students and 211 non-resident students, including 137 whose permanent address is not in the United States.
Criteria for the dean’s list varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Ohio State is also issuing the list of students who earned degrees at commencement on Aug. 7, 2022. The university awarded 1,747 degrees at the ceremony, including 310 doctoral, 13 professional, 523 master’s and 901 bachelor’s, associate degrees and certificates.
Students may choose not to have their names released under the provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Their names have been excluded from the lists.
