The Walsh University Women's soccer team opened up the Homecoming weekend events with a their first conference win over the Panthers from Kentucky Wesleyan. The win puts the Cavs at 3-3 overall for the start of the season.

FOR THE CAVALIERS:
- To get the Cavalier fans on their feet, Taylor Tomlinson connected to the back of the net during the seventeenth minute of the game.
- Tomlinson's goal was on an assist from teammate, Katie Corrigan.
- With less than 4 minutes on the clock towards the end of the second half, Mack White would put the Cavs up 2-0 to close out the game.
- Romina Parraquez kept all Panther attempts out of the goal to keep the game at 2-0.
The Women take to the pitch again on Saturday, September 17th at 5:00pm as Homecoming weekend continues.
