The University of Mount Union will welcome author and environmentalist Ken Ilgunas to campus as part of its Earth Month programming on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallaher Theatre.
Ilgunas will present, “Trespassing across America: One Man's Epic, Never-Done-Before (and sort of Illegal) Hike along the Keystone XL Pipeline” featuring stories from his 2016 book of the same name. He is also the author of “Walden on Wheels” and “This Land is Our Land.”
Ilgunas’ work has been featured on “The Tonight Show” and in “The New Yorker” and “National Geographic.” He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and English from the University of Buffalo and a master’s degree in liberal studies from Duke University.
