University of Mount Union recently issued the following announcement.
The University of Mount Union is welcoming representatives from the United States Army War College who will present “Contemporary Military and Security Issues” on Thursday, March 17 at 6 p.m. in the Newbold Room of the Hoover-Price Campus Center on the University’s campus.
The panel is comprised of Lt Colonel Matthew Adamczyk, Colonel Leila Green, Lt Colonel Robert Greiner and Dr. Christine Gettys Hull. With more than 80 years of combined experience, the panelists will discuss current issues facing the world today and take questions from those in attendance.
Adamczyk has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times over his 20-year career, primarily serving in the airborne and light infantry units. Green has commanded three units, including one that delivered logistics expertise during the COVID-19 pandemic and the UK departure from the European Union.
Greiner, who has previously served as an instructor of national security at the U.S. Army War College, was recently assigned as lead planner for the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan where he led efforts for implementation of NATO’s mission as well as planning for the withdraw of its forces. Hull earned a doctorate in environmental toxicology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has served as a Department of Army civilian scientist and engineer for more than 20 years.
