Walsh University recently issued the following announcement.
While the latest surge of COVID-19 has begun to recede in Stark County and area hospitals are returning to more normal operations, the deepening nursing shortage continues to
challenge health systems in the region.
Industry challenges are top of mind for Stark County nursing education programs. Many have introduced new initiatives during the pandemic to help shore up staffing numbers and
encourage more students to enter the field.
