Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities (Stark DD) issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
With Stark DD preschool and School age student moving to remote learning this week, school, transportation and maintenance staff pulled together to deliver breakfasts, lunches, therapy equipment and educational packets to student homes. On Mondays/Wednesdays two days worth of lunches are delivered to more than 70 students living throughout the county. On Friday’s, staff deliver 5 days of grab and go breakfasts for over 170 students, in addition to the lunches and learning materials. Lunches follow the traditional school menu, while also meeting special dietary needs such as allergies or puréed diets.
Shout out to the staff for meeting the needs of students, and making door-to-door deliveries across Stark county. #inthistogetherstarkdd
