Stark County Health Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
Our health commissioner, Kirkland Norris, RS, MPH, has issued his weekly statement on the level change of the Ohio Public Health Advisory System.
November 25, 2020 Ohio Public Health Advisory System Update:
All counties in the State of Ohio are considered a high incidence county.
Franklin County will continue at Level - 4 Purple for its second week. Lake, Lorain, and Montgomery will also be moving to Level 4 - Purple this week.
Our county, Stark County, is at Level 3 - Red and has been added to the watch list for Level 4 - Purple. We join 10 other counties which are Adams, Clermont, Hamilton, medina, Portage, Richland, Summit, Trumbull, Warren, and Wood.
The following indicators met were:
Indicator 1 – New Cases per Capita at 517.53
Indicator 2 – New Cases Increase
Indicator 3 – Non-Congregate Cases
Indicator 4 – ED Visits
Indicator 5 – Outpatient Visits
Indicator 7 – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Bed Occupancy
