Stark State College issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
Stark State College is offering a new accelerated paramedic program that allows students to be prepared for in-demand jobs in less than a year.
The three-semester accelerated program offers day classes that start each spring semester. The traditional four-semester paramedic program will continue to start in the fall semester of each year, with day and evening class options.
Financial aid is available.
Students must successfully complete the EMT course and corresponding certification test to become a certified Ohio EMT before applying to either paramedic program.
